Homeward Bound
The past month has been an amazing experience. I traveled through the Maritimes, explored 11 national parks, met with park staff and deployed traps for the Canadian National Parks Malaise Program.

Having spent the last month in provinces I had never been to before, I was taken aback by the spectacular scenery that can be found across this country. From sand dunes and beaches to mountainous landscapes, from clearly sunny weather to snowstorms in the middle of May, I can honestly say I have experienced more than I ever thought I would within this short period of time.
But now this journey has come to an end and I am back in Ontario to spend the rest of my summer at BIO in Guelph. I am happy to be home, but will miss my daily adventures with Agata. The new BIObus crew has met with Agata in Fundy NP and will carry out the standardized sampling protocol, travelling to 7 national parks on rotation throughout the summer.
